About The Show

Written & created by Gregory Levine & Gabi Hegan

Directed by Monica Rodriguez

The Gregor & Olga Show revels in post-war German cabaret sex and excess, swirling around Gregor, an embittered Berlin poet and his lascivious Russian wife Olga. When they bring their scandalous vaudeville show to 1947 America, things spin out of control as a beautiful Burlesque Dancer and a night club crooner get caught in the crossfire of jealousy.

Featuring Miss Ruby Valentine, the Sweetheart of the Burlesque with her tantalizing Fan Dance and welcoming Jonathan Holtzman to the cast as Tony Caruso.

Meet the hosts of the show:

Gregor

GREGOR von Richthofen-Werdersmarkt rejects your banal attempts to degrade his art with bourgeois "laughter." And if you leer at Olga's bottom again, he will skin your children alive. Descended from a degenerate line of sadistic aristocrats, war profiteers and syphilitic swindlers, Gregor has wasted his genius playing dosshouses and labor camps. Tonight he wastes it on you. So drink, you swine, drink.

Born in Berlin, he was once wanted in the towns of K___ and D____-am-Rhein. He is happy those records were destroyed: Thank you, Allied bombers; do come again. Gregor would also like to thank Mr. McM____ of the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service, who knows the value of a Deutschmark. And a Swiss franc. And a photograph. Gregor still owns the negative; just remember that.

Olga

OLGA Barbutschka was born in Lower Dniepropetrovsk, in the Russian Ukraine. No, Slovakia or Ruthenia. Romania Wallachia? Never mind, you couldn't pronounce it anyway. A former Miss Politburo, Olga is descended from a long line of service women. Before coming to America Olga supported herself by entertaining lonely German and Red Army officers. And enlisted men. Many of them. Many, many of them. Her secret to keeping her girlish figure, girls? "I binged while Stalin purged." The rest is history. Olga would like to thank Madame Natasha, the world's greatest hair stylist, cosmetologist, dance instructor, voice trainer, investment strategist, landlord, pharmacist and occasional ob/gyn, for giving her her start in the business. Olga would like to say "Hooray, USA Number One!"
